We have reached the 20th year of our school journey absolutely taken by the commitment to excellence in education for everyone who believes that through this approach a nation is strengthened and can strengthen the world.Instigated by my familys role as educators, I took the risk of creating an education space.I wasnt thinking of a business space, but a living space. A space where it could meet the needs of a school community that seeks lasting quality in education.Thus, through the stimulus, the desire, the dream, the challenge that moves me, Colégio Dimitri Marques was born with approximately 53 students enrolled and very few employees.And time passed and over the years we gained partners and built a team, forming a family, our differentiator and treasure. Today we are many, but we seem like one.The challenges have been many and we are gaining from experience, a vision of the totality of education, taking clear and defined positions in the school organization, building a holistic educational vision, in which the administration of human, financial and physical resources are increasingly at the service of the pedagogical process of teaching and learning.Schooling has brought us the joy of learning to face the challenge of looking at knowledge as a set of meanings that needs to be replaced by new ones, in new sets of meanings. Thus, through continued reflection, they become shared and guided principles of action, change, transformation within our school, and which remain deeply our instigators.Sharing and demonstrating love for what we do, involving ourselves as conductors of a special orchestra (from the beginning to the end of the performance of the work), becomes an example, encouragement, daily nourishment, a happy commitment, towards our students and ourselves.This “love for doing and doing for love”, enables us to take firm and safe steps, towards knowing ourselves, towards conquering a space, towards autonomy, towards success, having as its basic premise the same principle there. from the beginning, when we were 53 people including students and staff: to be a living education space. This way, we will experience and prosper in quality, just as I dreamed at the beginning.The passion for education and life is responsible for the fruitful time so far, and the desire to bequeath something uniquely ours to the educational community and humanity remains the stimulus, the challenge, the dream of this pleasurable activity in education that Now (thank God) it’s not just my dream, but ours!This anniversary year, our physical space grew, was modernized and will become more complete with the arrival of our theater.Long live this living space!
